Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi has claimed at a press conference that 200 Central government officials are in touch with him. According to Gandhi, these officials are giving him all the information. "Do whatever you want to do. Officials of the ED, the CBI and the Ministry of External Affairs are giving us information. Do what you will, the truth is with us," he said.

The statement comes at a time when the Opposition INDIA bloc, along with the Cockroach Janta Party, the All India Students' Association and several organisations across the country, has taken to the streets over allegations of corruption involving the Chief Election Commissioner and the Election Commission. Opposition parties allege that protests against the Central government are being continuously crushed.

Throwing an open challenge to the Modi government, Gandhi said the youth of India would not stop until the Chief Election Commissioner goes, democracy is restored, the election process is reformed and justice is delivered. He said five wrongdoers had attacked the soul of India. He said he would not step back and would not stop, however long it took.

The INDIA bloc is holding another march at Barakhamba today. Gandhi said anyone who wants to protect the Constitution should come without hesitation, whatever their party. He said it made no difference to him even if someone belonged to the BJP. He appealed to everyone to join, women and men, people of any caste or religion, and journalists. He also said he now has Narendra Modi's entire horoscope, and that both Modi and he know it.

Gandhi said he himself carries no importance in this, and what matters is the Constitution, the people and the future of the country. He described it as a fight for the future and standing of every Opposition party, every worker and every young person. To those who cannot join the march, he said they should show their support at 3.30 pm in whatever way they can. "The Constitution is our faith," Gandhi said. He also said these people are cowards and that their system has collapsed from within.

Asked whether Gyanesh Kumar had tried to contact him in any way, Gandhi said messages from him were coming in and that he was also watching this press conference. Gandhi said his only message to Kumar was to confess his crimes. In Gandhi's words, Kumar is not the main wrongdoer and has made mistakes, but he will not spare whoever the mastermind behind those mistakes is. He said that if Kumar resigns and steps back, he would forgive him. Gandhi claimed he knows that Modi, Shah, Doval and Adani have forced Kumar to do all this, and that he can gauge how much pressure Kumar must be under.
