The Bharatiya Janata Party has launched a street play initiative in Maharashtra to take the story of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public life to every household. The initiative is called "Namo Seva - Unheard Stories". According to the party, it will carry Modi's sacrifice and ideas of service to the nation to the people.

The initiative is part of the "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan" running across the country. In Maharashtra, it was formally launched at KC College in Mumbai by state BJP president Ravindra Chavan.

Addressing those present, Chavan praised the initiative. He said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modiji's life journey teaches us valuable lessons in selfless service, good governance, dedication and patriotism. This initiative is highly commendable for instilling the inspiring episodes of his life in the minds of ordinary people."

Chavan further said that just as the film "Hanuman Ansh", made by new artists, set new records of success, the "Namo Seva Gatha" street play too would break all records. He expressed firm confidence in this.

The responsibility of staging the street play has been given to artists from Pimpri-Chinchwad. They will portray on stage Modi's journey marked by struggle, his devotion to the nation and his pledge of public service. They will perform in every corner of Maharashtra.

Under the campaign, one major performance will be held in every district of the state by October 15, 2026. In addition, at least 10 street play performances will be held in every Assembly constituency. Such a large event has given new artists a big opportunity to showcase their art and spread awareness in society.

At the launch ceremony at KC College, the artists performing the street play and the organisers of the programme were felicitated. Those present included Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, Assembly Speaker and MLA Rahul Narwekar, BJP Mumbai president and MLA Amit Satam, Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde, BJP state general secretary and MLA Niranjan Davkhare, and MLA Amit Gorkhe. Several senior BJP office-bearers, workers and a large number of citizens also attended.
