The Opposition INDIA bloc is set to hold a large march in Delhi towards the Supreme Court today. The alliance is demanding that Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar be removed from his post. The demand is being raised over irregularities and corruption in the SIR process. Following the CJP's agitation, the INDIA bloc is once again preparing to march to the Supreme Court, and Delhi's politics is expected to heat up today.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also given a call of "Dilli Chalo" for the march. According to sources, the Chief Justice of India has declined to give the INDIA bloc leaders time to meet him.

Several senior leaders from Maharashtra have already reached Delhi to take part in the march. They include senior Congress leaders Balasaheb Thorat and Vijay Wadettiwar. Leaders of the other Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) constituents, the Nationalist Congress Party (SP) and the Shiv Sena (UBT), are also there. These leaders are strongly demanding Gyanesh Kumar's resignation and corrections to Maharashtra's electoral rolls. A large number of leaders and workers from Maharashtra have come to Delhi to join the agitation.

Tight security arrangements have been made in the capital in view of the march. The Opposition parties are reported to be planning to move towards the Supreme Court with a large convoy. Delhi Police and other agencies have made extensive preparations. The road from Parliament House to the Supreme Court has been completely barricaded and closed. INDIA bloc leaders and workers will pass along this route. A large number of police personnel have been deployed on these roads, and there is also a heavy police presence on Parliament Street.

As a precaution, six metro stations in the New Delhi area have been closed since 6 am today. The stations are Rajiv Chowk, Barakhamba Road, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Janpath and Mandi House. The DMRC has kept them closed until 4 pm for now. Metro trains will run through below these stations. Passengers will be able to change trains, but no one will be allowed to exit or enter at these stations.
