Bawankule meets Sole and his team, urges workers to reach out to voters for Kohle in Nagpur graduates' poll

Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule asked BJP workers to contact all registered graduate voters for official candidate Sudhakarrao Kohle after Anil Sole's revolt ended.

The BJP has stepped up meetings and outreach to workers for the Nagpur graduates' constituency election. Meetings have begun after the end of Anil Sole's revolt. In this series, a convention of workers who registered graduate voters was held at Naivedyam in Koradi in the presence of Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.

The convention was told that workers have got around 84,000 voters registered. Workers who got 1,100 voters registered were also felicitated.

Bawankule said all voters should now be contacted to ensure the victory of the official candidate, Sudhakarrao Kohle. He said this election is different from general elections, so it is extremely important to understand its nature and the way to approach voters. According to him, the main responsibility of reaching out to voters lies with the workers who registered them.

Bawankule also said senior party leaders and office-bearers would stand with the workers, but the workers who registered the voters should themselves keep in constant touch with them and get them to vote. He appealed to workers to organise and make efforts through their own hard work and ensure the victory of BJP candidate Kohle.

BJP city president Dayashankar Tiwari, election co-head Girish Deshmukh and MLA Rajiv Potdar were also present at the convention. There was direct interaction with the registering workers, and they were given guidance on the strategy for contacting voters and on workers' responsibilities in view of the coming election.

Late in the evening, the Guardian Minister held a meeting with former MLA Anil Sole and his team at a hotel. Bawankule said Sole is a senior and experienced leader with experience of graduates' elections. According to him, Sole's micro-planning, public outreach and team of workers will now play an important role in the party's victory.

Bawankule said Sole's return has made the BJP's victory certain. He also said the Chief Minister has promised that mistakes that have been made will be corrected and that old and loyal workers will be given important responsibilities in the party and the organisation.

Bawankule said workers who got voter forms filled must fulfil their responsibility at any cost. He asked them to form teams, urge voters to go to polling stations and focus on getting the highest possible turnout. He said that anyone facing any difficulty could contact him directly. Anil Sole, the election in-charge, the co-election in-charge and other office-bearers and workers were present at the meeting.
