Center for Internet Security के मुताबिक Apple के कई प्रोडक्ट्स में कमज़ोरियाँ मिली हैं। सबसे गंभीर कमज़ोरी से हैकर डिवाइस पर अपना कोड चला सकता है, इसलिए अपडेट पर नज़र रखना ठीक रहेगा।
Center for Internet Security ने बताया है कि Apple के कई प्रोडक्ट्स में सुरक्षा की कमज़ोरियाँ मिली हैं। इनमें iPhone और iPod touch का iOS, iPad का iPadOS, Mac कंप्यूटर का macOS, Apple TV का tvOS, Apple Watch का watchOS, Apple Vision Pro का visionOS और Safari ब्राउज़र शामिल हैं।
सबसे गंभीर कमज़ोरी से "arbitrary code execution" हो सकता है, यानी हैकर अपनी मर्ज़ी का कोई भी प्रोग्राम आपके डिवाइस पर चला सकता है। रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक यह उसी ऐप के दायरे में हो सकता है जिसमें कमज़ोरी है। कुछ मामलों में हैकर को डिवाइस के सबसे ऊँचे अधिकार भी मिल सकते हैं।
ऐसा होने पर हैकर डिवाइस में प्रोग्राम इंस्टॉल कर सकता है, डेटा देख, बदल या मिटा सकता है। वह डिवाइस पर और ज़्यादा कंट्रोल भी ले सकता है। कितना नुकसान होगा, यह इस पर निर्भर करता है कि उस ऐप या सर्विस के पास कितने अधिकार हैं।
रिपोर्ट में यह नहीं बताया गया कि इन कमज़ोरियों का किसी पर असल हमला हुआ है या नहीं। इनके नाम और पूरी तकनीकी जानकारी मूल रिपोर्ट में है।

- ऑटोमैटिक अपडेट चालू रखें, ताकि सुरक्षा के सुधार अपने आप लग जाएँ।
- अनजान लिंक पर क्लिक न करें और अनजान फ़ाइलें न खोलें।
