Social media reel star Pratik Shinde is in the news once again. He is accused of performing dangerous stunts with expensive cars and horses after coming out of jail on bail. Videos of the stunts have gone viral on social media, and they are the reason the matter is being discussed.

The incident is said to have taken place in the Hanumanwadi area of Chakan Road, which falls under the Alandi police station limits. The spot is on the Ring Road, where construction work is under way.

It is alleged that Shinde and his associate Mahesh Maharaj Madke, a H.B.P. who lives in Alandi, staged the stunts with a convoy of expensive cars that also included horses. Such stunts, filmed for social media in a public place, raise questions about the safety of ordinary people.

Animal lovers are also upset about the use of horses. Questions are being asked about how right it is to use animals to gain fame on social media. However, there is no clear information so far on whether any animal was hurt in the incident.

Shinde's name has come up earlier in a serious case. Shinde and other accused were arrested in the kidnapping and assault of Chetan Devalkar, a 28-year-old content creator who made videos against Chinese betting apps. The allegation in that case is that a dispute arose over the promotion of betting apps. Shinde is said to have come out on bail after that arrest, and he is now in the news again because of the stunt videos.

There is no official information on whether a complaint has been registered with the police in the new matter or, if so, what action has been taken.

If the allegations of dangerous stunts in a public place prove true, the entire matter needs to be investigated. An inquiry would need to examine whether the use of the vehicles endangered public safety, whether the horses' safety was looked after, and whether any rule was violated. Meanwhile, the trend of shooting dangerous things to gain fame on social media is again being questioned. All eyes are on what stand the Alandi police take on the alleged stunts by Shinde and his associates.
