Nagpur man booked for harassing wife over sex, sending her obscene photos

Nagpur: Imambada police have registered a case against a man accused of torturing his wife to force her into physical relations. The woman is 35 and the accused husband is 40.
According to the complaint, the husband used to torture her to force physical relations, and because of this she has been living separately for a year. His harassment has not stopped even then. On March 25, 2025, the accused came to her and pressed her for physical relations. When she refused, he also tried to kill her. A case in this connection is already registered at Kotwali police station.
The woman works at a mall. On the afternoon of October 7, the husband sent obscene photographs of her to her mobile phone. He asked her to withdraw the case pending in court, and threatened to make the photographs viral on social media if she did not. He also sent the obscene photographs to her brother.
The woman then lodged a complaint at Imambada police station. Police have registered a case under charges of molestation and the IT Act and begun an investigation.
