Nagpur: Man held to account for rape, circulating woman colleague's nude video, case registered
Belatrodi police in Nagpur have registered a rape case against a 22-year-old man accused of coercing a colleague and sharing her video with her relatives and friends.

Nagpur: Belatrodi police have registered a case of rape against a young man who, under threat of killing her, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman friend and then circulated her nude video.
The accused is Yuvraj, 22, a resident of Balaghat. The 22-year-old complainant and Yuvraj work at the same company, where they became friends. Yuvraj allegedly led her to believe that he was in love with her and, under that pretext, began pressing her to have a physical relationship with him. She refused.
According to the complaint, Yuvraj threatened to kill her and forced her to undress. He allegedly committed obscene acts with her and made a video. He then began threatening her with the video, and sent it to her relatives and friends, making it go viral.
Distressed, the woman filed a complaint at Belatrodi police station. Police have registered a case under the rape provisions and the IT Act and begun an investigation.
