The monsoon has withdrawn from Maharashtra and the weather is changing quickly. Rain activity has weakened across most of the state, while daytime temperatures are gradually rising.

Some areas, however, are not getting complete relief. Local cloud cover, thunder and lightning, and light rain remain possible. A change in the weather is being felt in different parts of Konkan, Central Maharashtra and Vidarbha.

In Nagpur, the temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius on October 7, 2026. According to the weather forecast, the maximum temperature today may be around 31 degrees and the minimum around 24 degrees. The sun will rise in the city at 5:50 am and set at 5:37 pm. Humidity is at 92 per cent, while atmospheric pressure has been recorded at around 1015.

Nagpur's temperature may fluctuate in the coming days. For the next six days, the minimum temperature is likely to be about 31, 30, 30, 30, 31 and 32 degrees. As the day heat builds, people may also have to contend with humid conditions.

Rain activity is currently weak in Mumbai. Sunshine during the day may increase heat and humidity. The sky is likely to remain partly cloudy. Sea breezes may bring some relief, but the heat will be felt more in the afternoon.

The weather in Pune and surrounding areas is expected to remain mainly dry. Despite light chill in the morning and at night, temperatures may rise during the day because of the sun. Local cloud and light rain may persist in the ghat areas.

Rain activity is likely to remain weak in most parts of Vidarbha and Marathwada. Daytime temperatures may rise in several areas, including Nagpur, Akola, Amravati and Wardha. Local clouds may also form in some places.

Light rain is possible in parts of Konkan-Goa and Central Maharashtra because of local weather activity. Rain with thunder and lightning remains likely in Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and the ghat areas. Overall, rain is likely to stay weak in most of the state in the coming days, and the effect of the heat is likely to increase.
