Masked men attack elderly woman, loot gold jewellery from Nagpur house in Anantnagar
Three to four burqa-clad men barged into a house in Anantnagar after midnight, beat an elderly woman with a wooden stick and fled with her gold ornaments.

An armed robbery was reported from Anantnagar in Nagpur, under the Gittikhadan police station limits, where an elderly woman was attacked with a wooden stick and robbed of the gold jewellery she was wearing.
According to preliminary information, the incident took place in the night between Thursday and Friday, at around 1 am to 2 am.
Three to four accused, wearing burqas, entered the house and attacked the elderly woman who was inside. They then took the gold ornaments she was wearing and fled.
The woman, the mother of a man named Raja Sharif, was alone at home when the accused carried out the crime.
The police were informed through Dial 112. The Gittikhadan police reached the spot, and the injured woman was admitted to Mayo Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
Police Inspector Sarang Mirashi said a case has been registered and a search for the accused has begun. The accused are absconding and no arrest has been reported so far.
