Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the 2026 Toyota Glanza facelift in the Indian market. The starting ex-showroom price of the premium hatchback is Rs 6.99 lakh, while the top variant costs Rs 10.49 lakh. The new model has a changed front look, improved safety features and new transmission options.

The biggest highlight of the top variant is Level 2 ADAS technology. The CNG model, like the petrol, also gets an AMT gearbox option, so an automatic can now be chosen in CNG as well.

The front of the car has a large black grille, silver finish, a chrome strip and redesigned bumpers. A honeycomb-pattern lower grille, rectangular fog lamps and new side skirts set the car apart. Buyers can choose from five variants: E, S, G, V and the new V(O).

By variant, the E costs Rs 6.99 lakh, the S Rs 7.71 lakh, the G Rs 8.73 lakh and the V Rs 9.99 lakh. The top V(O) variant is priced at Rs 10.49 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. On-road prices may differ depending on the city, dealership and other charges.

The 2026 Glanza has a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Z12E petrol engine that produces about 82 hp of power and 112.4 Nm of torque. Power is lower than the older 4-cylinder engine, but the new engine comes with an automatic idle start-stop system. Both petrol and CNG versions have 5-speed manual and AMT transmission options. The CNG version produces 69 hp of power and 102 Nm of torque.

On safety, the new V(O) variant has Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and high-beam assist. Six airbags are standard across all variants. ABS, EBD, brake assist, vehicle stability control and Toyota's TECT body structure are also provided for safety.

The Glanza gets a head-up display, a 360-degree camera and Toyota i-Connect connected car technology. The car is 3,990 mm long and 1,745 mm wide, with a wheelbase of 2,520 mm. The petrol version has a 318-litre boot space and a 37-litre fuel tank. The car shares its platform and mechanical structure with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. In the market, it will compete with the Hyundai i20 and the Tata Altroz.
