SBI invites applications for 10 contract specialist cadre officer posts in Mumbai, no written test

State Bank of India (SBI), Mumbai, has announced fresh recruitment for Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) posts. A total of 10 vacancies will be filled, all on a contract basis. The place of posting will be Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The openings are for candidates with experience in the banking sector.
Applications opened on September 30, 2026, and the last date is October 21, 2026. Applications must be made online only, on the website sbi.co.in, where all details are available.
The recruitment covers eight different kinds of posts. These are Head Sales (1 post), Central Research Team (Product Lead) (2), Manager (Business Process) (1), Project Development Manager (Technology) (1), Central Operations Team (COT) Support (1), Deputy Vice President (1), Deputy Vice President (Digital Marketing) (2) and Content Specialist (1), making 10 posts in all.
Educational qualifications vary by post. For Head Sales and the research team, an MBA or PGDM is mandatory, and a CFP, CFA or NISM certificate will be preferred. The manager post requires an MBA or PGDM. For Project Development Manager in technology, candidates with BE, B.Tech, ME or M.Tech degrees, or an MBA, MMS or PGDM, can apply.
Graduation alone is sufficient for COT Support, but work experience is needed. For digital and analytical marketing (DVP), a science degree is required. For Content Specialist, a degree in marketing, journalism, communication or advertising is required. Experience is required for all posts, and the recruitment is not meant for freshers.
On pay, the annual cost to company (CTC) is up to Rs 199 lakh for Head Sales, Rs 77.20 lakh for the Central Research Team lead, Rs 47.20 lakh for the manager and project manager posts, and Rs 37.20 lakh for COT Support. It is fixed at Rs 63 lakh for both DVP posts and Rs 19 lakh for Content Specialist.
Age limits also vary by post. For Head Sales it is 40 to 52 years, and for the research team and the DVP posts it is 30 to 45 and 33 to 45 years respectively. For the manager, technology manager, COT and content posts, the limit is 25 to 40 or 30 to 40 years.
The application fee is Rs 750 for General, EWS and OBC candidates. SC, ST and disabled candidates do not have to pay a fee. There is no written examination. Selection will be through an interview, and the CTC will be fixed on that basis.
