The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a new notification for recruitment to Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) posts on a contract basis. A total of 207 vacancies have been announced.

These 207 posts include 1 post of Zonal Head Retail, 5 posts of Regional Head (RH), 24 posts of Relationship Manager Team Lead, 9 posts of Investment Specialist, 4 posts of Investment Officer, 91 posts of VP Wealth and 73 posts of AVP Wealth.

The online application process for all these posts began on September 4, and the last date to apply was earlier set as September 25. This date has now been extended to October 5. Eligible and interested candidates who have not yet applied can complete their registration on SBI's official website before the new deadline.

Candidates applying must hold a degree with at least 60 percent marks from a recognised university or institute, as required for the post. They must also have a postgraduate degree or postgraduate diploma in finance, accountancy, business management, commerce, economics, capital markets, banking, insurance or actuarial science, or a professional qualification such as CA or CFA. In addition, 3 to 15 years of experience in the relevant field is mandatory.

The minimum age limit for candidates ranges from 23 to 35 years depending on the post, and the maximum age limit is set between 35 and 50 years, calculated as of August 31, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will get age relaxation as per rules.

The annual CTC (package) for selected candidates will range from Rs 30.20 lakh to Rs 97 lakh. Appointment to these posts will initially be for 5 years, which can be extended by a further 4 years depending on the bank's requirements.
