SBI invites applications for 10 specialist posts in Mumbai, pay up to Rs 1.99 crore

State Bank of India has announced fresh recruitment for Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) posts. There are 10 vacancies, with the place of posting in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The appointments will be on contract. The bank advertised the posts in September 2026, and some of them carry an annual cost to company (CTC) of up to Rs 1.99 crore.

Applications must be filled in online on the bank's official website, sbi.co.in. The application process began on September 30, 2026, and the last date is October 21, 2026.

The vacancies are spread across eight kinds of posts: Head of Sales (1), Head of Central Research Team Production (2), Business Process Manager (1), Project Development Manager (Technology) (1), Central Operations Team Support (1), Vice President Analytical Marketing (1), Vice President Digital Marketing (2) and Content Specialist (1).

Qualifications vary by post. Head of Sales requires an MBA or PGDM, with a CFP or CFA preferred. The research team post requires an MBA or PGDM along with an NISM certificate. The manager post requires an MBA or PGDM, while the technology manager post requires a BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech or MBA. Any degree is acceptable for operations support, but experience is required.

Both Vice President posts in marketing require a degree in marketing, business, statistics or data science, and an MBA will be preferred. The Content Specialist post requires a degree in marketing, journalism or advertising. Experience is very important for all posts, and the recruitment is not meant for freshers.

On pay, the Head of Sales will receive a CTC of Rs 1.99 crore. The head of the research team will get Rs 77.20 lakh, the manager and technology manager Rs 47.20 lakh each, and operations support Rs 37.20 lakh. Both Vice Presidents will get Rs 63 lakh, and the Content Specialist Rs 19 lakh.

Age limits also depend on the post: 40 to 52 years for Head of Sales, 30 to 45 for the research team, 25 to 40 or 30 to 40 for content, and 33 to 45 for the marketing Vice Presidents.

The application fee is Rs 750 for General, OBC and EWS candidates. SC, ST and disabled candidates will pay no fee.

There will be no written test. Applications will first be shortlisted, followed by an interview and then a discussion on salary.
