In Konkan's coastal belt, people are troubled by restlessness and heat because of the moist conditions. Taking the situation seriously, the administration has issued a yellow alert for heat for six districts: Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. Humid and extremely moist weather is expected to persist in these coastal areas for the next few hours.
