E3 Electric.AI, a Bengaluru company, has launched its Trion electric scooter range, with prices starting at Rs 99,999. The range has three variants, the C1, C1x and C2. According to the company's website as of October 9, 2026, the prices are ex-showroom Bengaluru.
The Trion C1 is the entry-level variant at Rs 99,999. It has a 2.3 kWh battery and a claimed IDC range of 108 km. Its battery can be removed and charged separately, which may help residents of apartments whose parking has no charging point.
The Trion C1x is priced at Rs 1,09,999. It has a 3.0 kWh battery and a claimed IDC range of 165 km, the longest in the range. The Trion C2 costs Rs 1,19,999 and also has a 3.0 kWh battery. It focuses on performance, with a claimed range of 128 km.
All three variants come with 14-inch wheels, turn-by-turn navigation and an ergonomic seat. The company uses its own RotoRing design with a hub motor, which it says reduces vibration and makes servicing easier.
The company's calculator puts the scooter's energy consumption at 28 Wh/km and assumes an electricity rate of Rs 9 per unit. These are the company's assumptions, and actual running costs can vary with the electricity rate and the way the scooter is ridden.
On warranty, the company's product page mentions a battery warranty of up to 8 years, subject to conditions. A separate warranty policy, however, sets limits of 5 years or 75,000 km for the battery and 3 years or 50,000 km for main parts. Buyers should check the terms of any extended warranty in writing.
The company's experience centre is currently in Koramangala, Bengaluru. Its website says centres in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi will open soon. Buyers should also get the delivery date and refund terms in writing before booking, as the company's FAQ and service terms say different things about refunds. The stated range is based on the IDC test, and the actual range can vary with speed, load and road conditions.
