Ather Energy handed over 500 units of its new Konark scooter in Delhi on one day, with prices starting at Rs 99,999 ex-showroom Bengaluru.

Ather Energy has reached a new milestone in the electric scooter market. The company delivered 500 units of its new electric scooter, the Ather Konark, in Delhi in a single day. According to information released on October 28, 2026, many customers came to the delivery event with their families and friends.

The Konark is said to be the company's most affordable electric scooter in the Indian market so far. Ather has 17 experience centres and 209 fast-charging points in the Delhi-NCR region.

The Konark is built on the company's new EL platform and is based on the EL01 concept. It has 14-inch alloy wheels at the front and 12-inch at the rear, with long-travel suspension on both sides. A metal panel at the rear and a steel unibody chassis are among its distinctive design elements. Its 1,352 mm wheelbase may help give the scooter stability. The transmission is a sequential gear drive that delivers power almost noiselessly.

The Ather Konark S series comes with three battery pack options: 2.1 kWh, 2.7 kWh and 3.5 kWh. According to the company's IDC-certified claims, their ranges are 100 km, 125 km and 161 km respectively. At ex-showroom Bengaluru prices, the 100 km variant costs Rs 99,999, the 125 km model Rs 1,21,999 and the 161 km model Rs 1,44,999. The price of the 200 km variant has not yet been announced.

All Konark variants come with the company's 5th-generation Bedrock battery. The battery carries a warranty of 10 years or 1 lakh km, whichever is reached first. The company claims battery health will remain at least 70% until the end of the warranty period. The servicing interval is 10,000 km, so servicing may be needed roughly once a year.

There are also some changes to the delivery schedule. Deliveries of the 100 km variant of the Konark S have been pushed back to Q4 2027 because of production-related problems. Deliveries of the Konark Z variant are planned to begin from Q2 2027.
