Pune, November 5, 2026: The Airport police have arrested a 22-year-old woman in Viman Nagar on the allegation that she sold e-cigarettes, banned hookah flavours and ganja under the cover of a cosmetic jewellery shop. Police raided her shop, Cloud Cartel, and seized goods worth Rs 2.17 lakh in all. The haul includes e-cigarettes, banned hookah flavours, 130 grams of ganja and other items.
The arrested woman has been identified as Abhilasha Pankaj Ahirrao. She is a resident of Viman Nagar.
According to police, constables Hariprasad Punde and Lalu Karhe received information about the illegal sale of e-cigarettes and hookah flavours in the Airport police station area. Acting on this, they raided shop number 9 of Cloud Cartel in Viman Nagar on November 3.
During the raid, police found e-cigarettes, banned hookah flavours and 130 grams of ganja inside the shop and in the storage compartment of a motorcycle parked outside. Police seized the entire stock.

Police said the woman earlier ran a shop in the Deccan area as well. She later closed it and opened this cosmetic jewellery shop in Viman Nagar. According to police, she allegedly used the new shop as a front for the illegal trade.
