Four more held over Tiger Shroff car firing, including two women suspected of delivering weapons to Mumbai

Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four more people linked to the weapons supply network behind the 18 October firing on the actor's car in Juhu.

The probe into the firing on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai has widened. The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four more accused linked to the network that supplied weapons. Two of them are women, who are suspected of having carried the weapons for the attack to Mumbai.

The arrested have been identified as Kunal (21) and Sumit (19), both residents of Sonipat district in Haryana, and Radha (23) and Babita (23), who are from Uttar Pradesh. The arrests were made on 20 October 2026, when investigators were tracing the network behind the 18 October shooting in Mumbai's Juhu area.

The Mumbai Police Crime Investigation Department (CID) later formally arrested all four. The CID has been granted three days of transit remand for further investigation.

According to investigators, Kunal allegedly collected a pistol and 20 rounds of ammunition from Amritsar at the behest of Anil Pandit, who has been described as a suspected operative linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Sumit was allegedly with Kunal throughout. Radha and Babita are suspected of having brought the weapons to Mumbai. Investigators are examining the alleged role of each accused in arranging and delivering the weapons used in the shooting.

The probe has also pointed to the alleged use of a "dead letter box" system, in which weapons are not handed directly from one person to another but picked up from a pre-decided location. Investigators are also looking into encrypted communications and the larger network that allegedly helped coordinate the operation.

The firing took place on 18 October in Mumbai's Juhu area, when three assailants allegedly fired at Shroff's car. The police then began an investigation and set about tracing those involved in the attack and the supply of weapons.

Mumbai Police had earlier arrested three alleged attackers in Kota, Rajasthan. With the new arrests, the total number of people held in the case has reached seven.

Investigators are now focusing on the alleged links between the shooters, the weapon suppliers and the people suspected of coordinating the operation. The police are also checking whether other members of the network were involved.

The motive behind the firing and the actual role of those arrested remain under investigation. Officials hope further questioning will reveal how the weapons were bought, how they were transported and how they reached the alleged shooters.
