Tiger Shroff shooting case: accused met Anil Pandit, was paid for ferrying weapon to Mumbai

Initial investigation shows accused Kunal allegedly arranged for a pistol and cartridges to be sent from Amritsar to Mumbai at Anil Pandit's behest; four accused have been arrested.

New disclosures are emerging daily in the case of the attack on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. According to initial information from the investigation, accused Kunal had met Anil Pandit, who had allegedly claimed to be an associate of Lawrence Bishnoi. At Pandit's alleged instance, Kunal arranged for a weapon and cartridges to be taken from Amritsar to Mumbai. Sumit was with him at the time. Two women were enlisted to carry the weapon to Mumbai.

Kunal allegedly brought Radha and her associate Babita into his network to carry the weapon and cartridges to Mumbai. It is also claimed that Kunal received Rs 70,000 to Rs 80,000 for arranging the transport of the weapons. Initial information also indicates that about Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 of this amount was paid to the "courier" who delivered the weapon.

Kunal and Anil Pandit were introduced through a friend. They then began talking on an encrypted app. At Pandit's instruction, Kunal ordered a pistol and 20 cartridges from Amritsar and handed them to Radha. Kunal had met Radha about two months earlier. He later told her about his work and persuaded her to take the weapon to Mumbai.

On October 15, Kunal took Radha and Babita to New Delhi railway station and sent them off to Mumbai with the pistol. He stayed in constant touch with both women during the train journey and relayed Anil Pandit's instructions to them. On October 17, Radha and Babita got off at Dadar station in Mumbai and went to a hotel. From there, another youth took away the bag containing the pistol from Radha.

Tiger Shroff's car was attacked at about 7 pm on October 18. The same day, Radha and Babita left Mumbai for Delhi by the Dadar-Haridwar Express. On October 20, both were arrested at New Delhi railway station, while the Special Cell of Delhi Police detained Kunal and Sumit from Sonipat. A total of four accused have thus been arrested in the case.
