The death of a newlywed woman in Jhansi has shaken her family. Muskan Sidoliya, 28, had been married only four months. CCTV footage from a Jhansi hotel showing her last moments has now surfaced.
Muskan had come to her parental home to sit the Junior Engineer (JE) examination for the railways. Her father had given her a grand send-off at her wedding four months ago. News of the same daughter's death has left the family in deep shock.
The hotel CCTV footage shows Muskan entering the hotel with her husband, Nilesh. A few seconds later, she suddenly falls to the ground. This video has become the biggest reason for the family's suspicion.
Muskan's father alleges that Nilesh had promised to take her to her maternal aunt's house, but did not take her there and brought her to the hotel instead. The father says this is why the family suspects a conspiracy to murder her. The family has demanded an investigation into the entire matter.
The father has directly voiced suspicion of murder against his son-in-law, Nilesh. According to him, there is another reason: Nilesh was already married and had hidden this when he married Muskan as his second wife. The father wants the case to be thoroughly investigated.
Police have detained Nilesh for now and are investigating further. The family hopes the whole truth will emerge from the investigation and that Muskan will get justice.
Everyone is now watching the police investigation, as the answers to what the footage shows and what the family alleges will have to come from it.
