Nagpur man accused of cheating woman of Rs 28 lakh in flat deal; case filed
Sonegaon police have registered a case against Ritesh Tiwari on a complaint that he took Rs 28.08 lakh for a flat that was then sold to someone else.

Nagpur: A case of Rs 28 lakh fraud in the name of getting a flat bought has come to light within the limits of Sonegaon police station in Nagpur. Sonegaon police have registered a case in the matter.
According to a complaint by Nikita Rampal, a resident of Mihan, the accused, Ritesh Tiwari, claimed to be an agent of a property dealer. He assured Nikita that he would get her flat number 301. He then took Rs 28.08 lakh from her.
The complaint states that the same flat was subsequently sold to another person through a company. That is, the flat for which Nikita had paid was sold to someone else. The accused is alleged to have kept the money taken from Nikita. When she asked for her money back, Ritesh began to evade her.
Eventually, Nikita went to Ritesh's house to ask for the money. There, Ritesh Tiwari and his father, Hariprasad Tiwari, refused to pay, the complaint says. It also states that they threatened her, saying they would deal with her if she filed a complaint. All these allegations are from Nikita's complaint. Sonegaon police have registered the case on her complaint.
