Nagpur: Case against car driver for wrong-side driving and abusing traffic policeman
Sonegaon police have booked a 30-year-old car driver who allegedly abused a policeman and refused to show documents when stopped for driving on the wrong side.

Nagpur: A car driver who was stopped from driving on the wrong side allegedly got into an argument with a traffic policeman and abused him. Sonegaon police have registered a case against the driver, Jay Megharaj Bajaj (30), a resident of Narendra Nagar.
The incident took place on the night of October 5. Policeman Shankar Musle was patrolling the Sonegaon police station premises with his colleagues when a car was seen coming from the direction of the Manish Nagar underpass on the wrong side. Musle signalled the driver to stop.
Instead of stopping, the driver allegedly tried to drive the car at Musle. Musle raised his hand and tried to stop the car. The driver then began arguing with him and abusing him. Musle managed to stop the driver and asked him to show his documents. The driver did not show them either. Sonegaon police have registered a case against the driver.
