Marathi film Maitreya releases romantic song Tula Pahate on friendship turning to love

The new romantic song "Tula Pahate" from the upcoming Marathi film "Maitreya" has been released. It is often hard to tell when love begins to stir within a friendship, and the song portrays that delicate journey.

In the song, eyes meet by chance, faces light up with a smile on seeing each other, and sometimes a glance says what the heart wants to say without a word. Love is shown growing out of such small moments. The easy chemistry of the actors and the feeling of a bond slowly deepening set the song apart.

The music has been composed by Pankaj Padghan. It is sung by Sayali Pankaj and Shivam Singh. The lyrics are by Guru Thakur, in whose words the tender feelings of love come through. The song offers a good blend of music, lyrics and voices.

Kranti Redkar Wankhede, the writer and director of the film, spoke about the feeling behind the song. She said we often do not realise when a friendship begins to move towards love. A changed way of looking at each other, emotions that show in small things and an attraction that arises unknowingly are what make love blossom, she said.

According to Kranti Redkar Wankhede, the song "Tula Pahate" tries to present this light-hearted beginning of love. She expressed hope that its emotions will remind viewers of similar beautiful moments in their own lives.

Composer Pankaj Padghan said that expressing love does not always need big words or grand occasions. A glance, an innocent smile or a moment spent together can also say what is in the heart. In "Tula Pahate", the attempt has been to bring out such unspoken feelings through music, he said.

The film's producer, Manoj Khalatkar, also said that the song goes beyond friendship and hints at a new relationship. He expressed confidence that "Maitreya" will show many shades of relationships in the lives of young people.

"Maitreya" is a Summer Times Production film. It is written and directed by Kranti Redkar Wankhede. Manoj Khalatkar is the producer and Aman Khalatkar the co-producer. Samar, Ayushi, Sky and Ruchi play the lead roles.

The film, a story of friendship, love and relationships blossoming in the lives of young people, will release in cinemas on November 20, 2026. Audiences are said to be eager to see the film.
