The vision video for the two-part film points to theme parks, museums and experience-based spaces, with the first part due on November 5, 2026.

The world of 'Ramayanam' is not confined to the big screen but is far larger and grander, producer Namit Malhotra has said in releasing a special vision video for the film.

Preparations are under way to take the Indian epic 'Ramayana' to audiences worldwide in a new form. The video reveals the larger thinking behind Malhotra's much-discussed film 'Ramayanam'. It is not only about making a grand film, but shows a vision of building a vast world that links India's cultural heritage with today's entertainment.

According to the vision video, 'Ramayanam' is not merely the idea for a single film. It is a major effort to connect audiences of different generations with the epic. Drawing inspiration from India's rich cultural heritage, the plan is to take the saga to audiences across the world through modern technology and new ways of storytelling.

Under this vision, audiences will not stop at watching the film in a cinema hall. They will be able to engage with the world of 'Ramayanam' through different mediums. Theme parks, museums and experience-based spaces are also described as part of this larger vision.

A key part of the vision is to present the stories, characters and life values of the Ramayana in a fresh style and carry them to future generations across the world. The video indicates that the project aims to deepen the new generation's bond with this immortal epic of Indian tradition, and to establish the identity of Indian culture in the world.

A teaser has also been released on the film's social media platforms along with the announcement. It offers a glimpse of the larger vision behind 'Ramayanam'. The vision video has also been made available on JioHotstar.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, 'Ramayanam' features several popular Bollywood actors in key roles. Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi appears as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Sunny Deol will play Hanuman and Ravi Dubey will play Lakshman.

The film is produced by Malhotra's Prime Focus Studios together with DNEG and Yash's Monster Mind Creations. Its visual effects and grand production have drawn audience attention.

'Ramayanam' will be released in two parts. The first part will arrive on November 5, 2026, while the second will reach audiences worldwide at Diwali 2027, as announced. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Sony Pictures will handle distribution outside India, while Dharma Productions will distribute it in the Hindi-speaking market. The film is also planned for release in IMAX theatres worldwide. Its songs will be released under the T-Series label.

Discussion on the thinking behind 'Ramayanam' has begun after the vision video. The announcement makes clear Malhotra's effort to take the Ramayana saga to the new generation by combining Indian cultural heritage, modern technology and world-class cinema.
