Sayaji Shinde's son Siddharth to make acting debut alongside him in Marathi film Vishnubala

A new generation of performers is now taking lead roles on screen. In politics and entertainment alike, a father and son working side by side is no longer unusual, and the tradition of father-son pairs appearing together in films is an old one. Another notable pair is now set to join that list.

Siddharth Sayaji Shinde, son of Sayaji Shinde, a well-known actor in Marathi, Hindi and southern films, is about to enter Marathi cinema. In the upcoming Marathi film Vishnubala, the father and son will work together on the Marathi screen for the first time. Following in his father's footsteps, Siddharth will make his acting debut, playing an important role in the film.

Siddharth said he began to feel drawn to the field during his college days. He also took formal training in acting. He had already decided that if he were to begin, it would be with a Marathi film. According to him, the film has brought together his debut and the chance to work with his father, a double joy, like sugar dissolving in milk.

Both say they are happy that the film gives them an opportunity to entertain audiences. Seeing the father-son pair together will surely be a treat for viewers.

Vishnubala is being produced under the banners of Shiv Samarth Film Production and Cinematic Safari Film Production. The story is written by Arvind Jagtap.
