After the Ashok Kharat case in Nashik, discussion began across the state about fake godmen, the exploitation of women and political links. Against this backdrop, a film titled 'Maharashtra Epstein Files' has now come into the spotlight. Its third teaser has been released, along with the look of actor Subodh Bhave in an important political role.
The teaser and poster hint that the film will offer glimpses of the misuse of power, a web of crime and a fight for justice. The film is set to release across Maharashtra on November 20, 2026.
In the new poster, Bhave appears as a formidable political leader. He wears a spotless white kurta and a black closed-collar jacket, with a grave expression on his face. The look conveys the weight of his character and has raised public curiosity about the film's political clash.
A dialogue by Bhave's character is also drawing attention. He says, "Be it a minister or an MLA... whoever is guilty will have to come within the ambit of the law. They will not be spared..." The line suggests that a large part of the story rests on attempts to suppress the truth under pressure from those in power and the struggle to bring the guilty before the law.
The film weaves mystery and thrill against the backdrop of alleged controversial events in the political and social world. The machinery that investigates crimes, attempts to bury the truth using power, and the fight for justice are all part of the film.
The teaser shows investigation boards, yellow police tape around a crime scene, questions from journalists, and fear and suspicion on the faces of various characters. These deepen the film's mysterious atmosphere. Viewers now want to know what political secret lies behind Bhave's character.
Deepali Sayed, Uday Tikekar and Akshay Tanksale also have important roles alongside Bhave. Through different characters, the film attempts to open up the tangled layers of politics, social work and the world of crime.
The story, screenplay and dialogues are by Sanjay Navgire, while the concept is by Sagarkumar S. Jain. The film is directed by Swaroop Sawant. Cinematography is by Akash Kakade and art direction by Akshay Ambekar.
Presented by Anandi Pictures, Amravati, and Sachin Rode Patil, the film is made under the banner of Matoshri Entertainment World. Devendra Bhat, Suryakant Bhunde and Prashant Kadampure are the producers. Neha Ghodke, Sachin Ghanwat and Yash Sanas, along with other technicians, contributed to production management.
Bhave's political look in the third teaser and the film's mysterious atmosphere have together raised audience interest. The film will reach cinemas across Maharashtra on November 20, 2026.
