Konkan Railway invites applications for 3 Deputy Chief Electrical Engineer posts; last date November 6

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has invited applications for three posts of Deputy Chief Electrical Engineer. The place of work will be CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai.

Applications are not to be filled in online. The entire process is offline, and applications must reach the corporation by November 6, 2026.

The first condition is that the candidate must be an IRSEE cadre officer with at least five years of service in the railways. Those currently working in JAG or Senior Scale will be given preference. Candidates must also be familiar with all the rules, specifications and codes of the Railway Board and RDSO.

On experience, preference will go to those with experience in railway electrification work. Experience in any one of the following will do: design, planning, work at a construction site, power supply, overhead equipment (OHE) work, maintenance of electric locomotives and EMU trains, train operation, crew management or electrical general services. Experience gained in Indian Railways, a PSU company or a metro will also be counted.

There is an upper age limit of 50 years. Those above 50 will not be able to apply.

There will be no major written examination. The company will first examine the candidates' documents and then call them for a test or directly for an interview. The final selection will be made at the interview.
