Honda has presented a long list of new motorcycles and concept models for the 2027 model year at EICMA 2026, the motorcycle show under way in Milan, Italy. At the show, the company displayed the new CRF1150L Africa Twin and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade to the world for the first time. The V3R 900 E-Compressor, the CBR500R FOUR and a few electric concept models also drew attention.
One of the show's most important bikes is the new Honda CRF1150L Africa Twin. Its engine displacement has been increased, and changes have been made to cut weight. The series now includes the Africa Twin, the Africa Twin Adventure Sports and the new Africa Twin Enduro Sports. A small part of the fuel tank has been placed under the seat, which helps keep the bike's centre of gravity low. The Adventure Sports variant also gets Honda's new Sensing Ride assistance system.
The V3R 900 E-Compressor is another notable bike at the show. It has a V-shaped 3-cylinder engine fitted with an electronically controlled compressor. According to the company, this is the first time such an electronically controlled compressor is being used in a motorcycle anywhere in the world. The company is moving towards preparing a production version of the bike.
The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade has also undergone major changes for 2027. About 75 per cent of its parts have been newly developed. A new aluminium frame, a new swingarm and a 2-stage variable-length intake funnel system in the engine are counted among the key changes. The series comprises the Fireblade, the Fireblade SP and the new Fireblade HRC Works Edition.
The CBR500R FOUR gets a 4-cylinder engine and Honda E-Clutch. The Adv 125 has a 125cc eSP+ engine, a 5-inch TFT screen and RoadSync connectivity. The RN0 electric-assist mountain bike, the EV Outlier electric concept and the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept are also on display.
Honda's display will run until November 8. Some of these models may come to the Indian market later, but the company has not yet given any information about a launch in India.
