Home interior brand Homelane has opened a 600-sq-ft experience centre in Chembur, its fourth in Mumbai, under a franchise-owned, franchise-operated model.

Home interior design brand Homelane has stepped up its expansion in Mumbai, opening a new experience centre in Chembur. It is the company's fourth centre in the city.

The new studio aims to give customers in the eastern suburbs a first-hand experience of modern interior design. The centre covers 600 square feet and will offer customers all services, from design to completion of the work.

The Chembur centre was inaugurated by Kripashankar Singh, former Minister of State for Home in the Maharashtra government. Anushakti Nagar MLA Sana Malik Shaikh and Anand Dubey, former national spokesperson of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), were the chief guests.

Nawab Malik, former Maharashtra Cabinet minister, senior Homelane officials and business partners also attended. The centre has been opened with architect Namrata Hegde as partner, under the franchise-owned, franchise-operated (FOFO) model.

At the new studio, customers will be able to see and assess modular kitchens, wardrobes and interior solutions for entire homes. Using the company's patented AI platform "Spacecraft", customers will be able to view a 3D design of their home in advance. They will also be given an estimate of costs and transparency in pricing.

The company is guaranteeing project completion in 45 days. A 10-year material warranty and full project management are also being offered.

Tanuj Choudhary, co-founder and COO of Homelane, said the fourth Mumbai studio would bring local customers the benefit of modern technology and transparent services. Partner architect Namrata Hegde stressed that Chembur has developed considerably as a residential area.

Both said the focus is on giving customers a hassle-free experience from design to final handover. The company plans to expand its network through the FOFO model, and under this it has set a target of opening 100 new studios across the country this year.
