Indian two-wheeler maker TVS Motor is expanding its international footprint, with Europe now in its sights. The company has announced that it will again take part in EICMA 2026, the motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. At 10:00 am CET on November 3, 2026, it will present its new European models there. The automobile sector is watching TVS's upcoming bikes and its global expansion plans.

According to TVS's own figures, its sales in Italy have grown 110% in the past 12 months, while Italy's overall two-wheeler market grew about 10% in the same period. The company's growth was thus far above the market average. TVS has built a network of around 100 dealers in Italy. Italy was its first market in Europe, and the company says this growing presence now gives it a strong base for launching new models.

Beyond Italy, the company is expanding in other countries. In France and Germany, TVS has started national-level sales operations and is preparing to open dealerships. It has 25 dealers in Spain and Portugal, and its products are also sold in Malta. In the next phase, the company wants to expand into Hungary, Greece and Serbia. Along with the dealer network, it is also focusing on strengthening after-sales service and customer support.

There has also been a change at the top of the company. TVS has appointed Peyman Kargar as director and chief executive officer from January 27, 2027. He is currently president of the company's international business. The appointment will give the overseas business new leadership as it grows.

The company says TVS serves 68 million customers in more than 90 countries. It has four manufacturing plants in India and Indonesia, which support its global business. It also draws on design and product development resources in India, Bologna and the UK.

Another expectation from the show concerns Norton. Norton's 450 cc single-cylinder roadster is expected to be showcased at EICMA. The Norton Atlas ADV is likely to come to India, but a firm launch date has not been announced.
