The coming months could be special for motorcycle enthusiasts. Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj and Harley-Davidson are all preparing to bring new or updated motorcycles to the market. The list includes a sporty commuter, a powerful cruiser, updated Pulsar models and Bajaj's first adventure bike. Here is what may change in the five bikes.
First is the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V. Hero MotoCorp has released a teaser of the updated bike showing its rear section and exhaust. The new model is likely to get a TFT instrument console. The current bike already has features such as ride modes, a USD front fork and a drag timer. The updated version may get styling changes and a modern display. However, its price and launch date have not yet been announced.
The second is the Harley-Davidson Sprint 440, which may appeal to those who prefer a traditional cruiser style. A long, low body, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, swept-back handlebars and a deep seat will be its distinguishing features. It is expected to get a 440cc single-cylinder engine that can deliver 27 hp of power and 38 Nm of torque. The bike, with a 6-speed gearbox, may be built at Hero MotoCorp's production facility in India. It is likely to arrive by the end of 2026.
Third is the updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200, in which big changes are expected in features. It may get a 5-inch TFT display, a quickshifter, four riding modes and traction control. Radial tyres, adjustable levers and a USB Type-C charging port may also be offered. A glimpse of a new Nardo Grey colour has also surfaced. The 199cc liquid-cooled engine is likely to continue, and power could go up to 25.5 hp.
Fourth is the updated Bajaj Pulsar RS200, known for its sporty fairing. A USD front fork and a 5-inch TFT display have been spotted during testing. The 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine is likely to continue, with 24.5 hp of power and 18.7 Nm of torque. New switchgear and adjustable levers could improve the riding experience further.
Fifth is Bajaj's first adventure bike, which has been spotted testing in India and Brazil. A tall riding position, a front beak, fork gaiters and wire-spoke wheels suggest it is being readied for rough roads and light off-roading. It may get a 249cc air/oil-cooled engine based on the Pulsar N250, which produces 24.5 PS of power and 21.5 Nm of torque. A TFT display is also likely. The bike could arrive at the end of 2026 or in early 2027. The final specifications, price and launch date are yet to be announced by the companies.
