A special guidance programme has been organised in Gondpipri on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 4 pm to 7 pm. Its theme is "Buddhists' independent system through cooperation". According to the organisers, the event has been called so that the community can achieve economic, social and educational progress through cooperation, and to promote the idea of the Buddhist community building its own independent system. The initiative is considered important from the point of view of organising the community and making it economically stronger.
Dr Rajaratna Ashok Ambedkar, national president of The Buddhist Society of India, will give the guidance at the programme. It is expected that, under his guidance, issues such as the importance of the cooperative movement, the role of cooperative institutions in helping the community stand on its own feet economically, and creating opportunities for development through collective efforts will be discussed.
The cooperative movement is regarded as a system that brings ordinary people together and gives them an opportunity for economic development. How the Buddhist community can make effective use of cooperation while moving towards education, organisation and economic self-reliance is the core of the programme's theme.
Cooperative institutions, collective economic ventures, business opportunities and putting the community's resources to use in development work are likely to be discussed. The initiative is seen as one through which new avenues of economic progress could open up if the community's youth, educated people, businesspeople and social workers make a joint effort through cooperation.
The idea of education, organisation and struggle given by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar is still regarded as a source of inspiration for social change. On the basis of these ideas, emphasis is laid on the community becoming economically capable along with being educated. Setting the direction of collective development through cooperation and bringing different sections of the community onto one platform have been described as important aims of such events.
According to the invitation issued, the programme will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the auditorium of L. J. K. Junior College in Gondpipri. It is being organised jointly by The Buddhist Society of India, AMSC and the Buddhist Co-operative Movement.
The organisers have appealed to citizens of Gondpipri taluka, social workers, youth and those interested in the cooperative sector to attend the programme.
