BSNL launches Rs 2,799 annual plan with 365-day validity and 3GB daily data

BSNL has introduced a year-long plan for users tired of recharging repeatedly. Priced at Rs 2,799, the plan carries a validity of 365 days, a full year, so a single recharge covers the whole year.

The company announced the plan in a post on its X account. Many users find it a hassle to remember the recharge date and top up every month, and long-validity plans suit such users. This plan removes the need to keep track of a monthly recharge date.

Users will get 3GB of high-speed data every day, which is ample for watching videos or scrolling through Instagram Reels. Those who watch videos and reels on their phones daily should not run short of data.

The plan includes unlimited voice calling for the whole year, covering both local and STD calls across the country. Users also get 100 SMS a day. The plan suits those who want calling and SMS along with internet access.

At Rs 2,799 for a full year, the average cost works out to about Rs 7.67 a day over the 365 days.

In all, the annual plan is meant for customers who want to pay once and have data, calling and SMS for the entire year. It costs Rs 2,799, is valid for 365 days and comes with 3GB of data a day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS.
