Airtel launches Rs 348 prepaid plan, Re 1 cheaper than its Rs 349 pack, with 2GB daily data

The new 28-day plan offers 2GB of high-speed data a day, while the Rs 349 plan gives 1.5GB a day but unlimited 5G data.

Airtel has launched a new prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 348. The company's Rs 349 plan, already available and quite popular, remains on offer. The new plan is exactly Re 1 cheaper, but the company has made some significant changes to the benefits of the two plans.

The Rs 348 plan has a validity of 28 days. Users get 2GB of high-speed data a day, unlimited calling on any network and 100 SMS a day. Over the full validity, the subscriber gets a total of 56GB of data.

The plan also includes a 12-month Adobe Express Premium subscription free of charge. Airtel Safe is included as well, and Hellotunes is being offered free for 30 days.

The Rs 349 plan gives 1.5GB of data a day, against 2GB a day on the Rs 348 plan. Its biggest feature is unlimited 5G data. Users with a 5G smartphone in an area with 5G network can use unlimited high-speed internet. The plan also includes Apple Music and Adobe Express Premium for six months.

For users of a 4G smartphone who need more data, the Rs 348 plan will be more beneficial, since it gives 2GB a day. For those with a 5G phone living in an area with 5G coverage, the Rs 349 plan is the better choice, as it offers unlimited 5G internet.
