The co-educational CISCE school run by the Patrician Brothers has over 1,900 pupils, but fees, transport and results should be confirmed with it directly.
Mount St Patrick Academy in Lohegaon, Pune, is a co-educational day school run by the Patrician Brothers. It began in 2003. According to the school, it had only 17 children in its first year and now has more than 1,900. Its current history puts the figure at about 1,905.
The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and conducts both ICSE and ISC. The CISCE directory lists it under school code MA121, with Brother Rajesh Tirkey named as head. Rev. Brother Rajesh Tirkey became principal in May 2025. The school's current motto is "Dream. Believe. Achieve."
The school's address is Survey No. 43/5, near Diamond Water Park, Lohegaon, Pune 411047, in eastern Pune. Parents living in areas such as Viman Nagar, Kalyani Nagar, Kharadi, Dhanori or Wagholi should work out the travel time in advance.
The school teaches from pre-primary to senior secondary. Its website has separate sections for pre-primary and primary, middle school and senior school. The school calendar mentions children from Class I to XII, including Class X and XII examination activities. A child can therefore stay in the same school up to ICSE and ISC. ISC has science and commerce streams. According to the school, it received provisional recognition for ISC after its ICSE batches had passed out.
Parents comparing it with CBSE schools should remember that ICSE and ISC have their own subject structure and method of assessment. Comparing only board percentages can therefore be misleading.
On its approach to teaching, the school says it wants to go beyond rote learning. According to the principal, the aim is to connect knowledge with real life so that children think, ask questions, solve problems and become responsible towards society. The senior school stresses discipline, perseverance, time management, self-restraint, respect and responsibility. The school calls this its Patrician ethos.
The school has a house system, with four houses named after Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri and Rabindranath Tagore. According to the school, the system was introduced to build communication, cooperation, empathy and resilience in children. It includes debate, drama, quiz, art and craft, dance, spelling bee and sports competitions.
In sport, there are inter-house contests in football, cricket, basketball, throwball and kho-kho. The 2026 calendar lists football and cricket for boys of Classes VI to VIII, kho-kho for girls of the same classes, and basketball and throwball for senior children. The calendar also includes a cultural festival and clay modelling.
Facilities listed include a computer lab and a library. The school says its campus became more high-tech during the leadership of Brother Anand Elias. There is an online portal for parents and children, along with online registration and fee payment. The school's guidelines state clearly that registration does not guarantee admission.
Several details were not fully available in public material. These include class-wise fees for 2026-27, teaching of AI, coding and robotics, any fixed course in financial literacy, counsellor and special education staff, transport routes and fees, security arrangements, the latest ICSE and ISC results, details of pupils going on to university, and class-wise vacancies. The school's website and CISCE information were checked in October 2026, but these points must be confirmed directly with the school. Having a computer lab is not the same as having a fixed programme in AI or computational thinking.
Parents should therefore visit the school and speak frankly to the admissions team. They can ask what the current fee is, how much extra will be spent, what the age requirement is, whether there will be an interview or test, what documents are needed, what help is given to a child who is falling behind, and what arrangements exist against bullying and for child safety.
