Baramati records 77.2 mm rain in 24 hours; Shivajinagar gets 41.1 mm, Lohegaon 36.2 mm

Pune, November 2, 2026: Rain was recorded in Pune city and many parts of Pune district in the 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday. Rainfall at all these places was measured in millimetres (mm). Baramati received the highest rainfall in the 24 hours, at 77.2 mm.

After Baramati, Ambegaon recorded 49.5 mm and Shivajinagar 41.1 mm. In the same period, Dhamdhere recorded 39.5 mm and Shirur 39 mm. All these figures are for the same 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday.

In Pune city and surrounding areas, Hadapsar received 35.5 mm, Haveli 35 mm and Magarpatta 30.5 mm. Chinchwad recorded 19.5 mm, Pashan 14.6 mm and the National Defence Academy (NDA) 5.5 mm.

The figures for other places in the district are for the period from 8.30 am on November 1 to 8.30 am on November 2. In that period, Bhor received 17.5 mm, Talegaon 14 mm, Purandar 5 mm and Daund 2.5 mm.

A separate weather report at 8.30 am on Monday showed 36.2 mm of rain at Lohegaon. The same report recorded relative humidity of 100 per cent at Shivajinagar and Chinchwad. The minimum temperature was 21.2 degrees Celsius in Shivajinagar and 21.3 degrees Celsius in Chinchwad.

The local forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department on Sunday says the sky over Pune and its surroundings will remain mainly clear on Monday and Tuesday, but is likely to turn partly cloudy in the afternoon or evening. Very light to light rain is possible on both days.

On temperature, the department has forecast a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius in Pune on Monday. On Tuesday, the maximum is forecast at 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 23 degrees Celsius.

For the days ahead, the forecast says the sky will be partly cloudy in the afternoon or evening on Wednesday. From Thursday to Saturday, the sky will remain mainly clear.
