Vivo launches X Fold 6 foldable in India, priced from Rs 2,19,999
Vivo has launched the X Fold 6 along with the V80 and S2 FE; pre-booking is open and sales begin on October 13.

Smartphone maker Vivo has launched its new foldable phone, the Vivo X Fold 6, in the Indian market. The company launched the device alongside the Vivo V80 and the Vivo S2 FE.
The base variant of the X Fold 6, with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, costs Rs 2,19,999. Pre-booking has begun and sales will start on October 13. Buyers can choose between Nebula Teal and Prism Black.
Under the launch offer, the phone is also available on an EMI of Rs 7,333 for 30 months. The company is offering zero down payment and instant cashback of up to Rs 26,400. It will also give a V-Upgrade exchange bonus of 12 per cent and V-Shield screen damage protection of up to 40 per cent. Buyers can also opt for instant cashback of up to Rs 26,400, an exchange bonus of up to 10 per cent, or no-cost EMI of up to 24 months. The phone comes with three months of Google AI Pro.
The phone has an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED panel with a pixel resolution of 2,504 x 2,312, a 120Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 424 ppi. The display offers 100 per cent DCI-P3 coverage, 300Hz touch sampling and HDR support. On the outside is a 6.51-inch AMOLED cover display with a resolution of 1,120 x 2,528 pixels. The features of the inner and outer displays are the same.
For performance, the phone is powered by a 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. It has up to 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It runs OriginOS 7, based on Android 17.
The X Fold 6 has a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup. The primary camera is a 200-megapixel f/1.68 unit, joined by a 50-megapixel f/2.05 ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel f/2.57 periscope telephoto camera that supports 100x digital zoom. There are two 20-megapixel selfie cameras, one each on the inner and outer displays. The phone can record video at 8K resolution.
The battery is 6,900mAh and supports 80W wired charging. Connectivity includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is rated IP58 and IP59.
