Suzuki Motorcycle India set a new sales record in the Indian two-wheeler market in October 2026. In the festival season, the company's domestic sales reached their highest monthly figure so far. Exports of two-wheelers from India, however, declined.
The company's total sales were 1.46 lakh units. In October last year the figure was 1.29 lakh units, an increase of 13%.
In the domestic market, Suzuki sold 1,24,599 two-wheelers in India in October 2026, against 1,03,454 units in October 2025. This is a 20% rise in sales within the country. On this basis Suzuki ranked fifth among Indian two-wheeler makers, behind Hero, Honda, TVS and Bajaj.
The export picture was the reverse. Of the two-wheelers made in India, the company shipped 21,720 units abroad in October, against 25,807 units exported in October 2025. Exports thus fell 16%.
The spare parts business earned revenue of Rs 118.8 crore, against Rs 85.7 crore in the same month last year. That business grew 39%.
In October, Suzuki introduced two dual-tone colour options for the V-Strom SX: Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey. A total of 43 Suzuki customers took part in the V-Strom Expedition 2026 ride, a 2,535-km journey from Delhi through Zanskar and Ladakh to Chandigarh.
The Burgman Hangout parade was also held in 11 cities. In Palakkad and Kolhapur, the Gixxer Pitstop initiative gave riders a chance to take test rides.
In September 2026, the Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition was launched at Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is identified by the Pearl Vigor Blue colour, special decals, wheel finish and a special edition badge on the fuel tank. The rise in sales suggests the company benefited from customer connection in India and festival-season demand.
