Hero MotoCorp sells 7.66 lakh two-wheelers in September, up 12% on the year

Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 7,66,348 two-wheelers in September 2026. The company had sold 6,87,220 units in the same month last year, a year-on-year rise of 12% in sales. Domestic sales made the biggest contribution to the gain.

In the domestic market, Hero MotoCorp's sales reached 7,39,018 units in September 2026, against 6,47,582 units in September 2025. Domestic sales thus rose by 31%. Exports, on the other hand, fell, from 39,638 units to 27,330 units.

The company's ICE business sold 7,10,436 units in September, against 6,32,253 units a year earlier. ICE sales thus grew 29% on the year. Scooters played a notable part, as their dispatches rose by a full 60%.

Vida, the company's electric mobility brand, also sold 28,798 units in September 2026. The company recorded an 83% rise in this segment. The company said that during the same period the Vida VX2 earned a place in the Asia Book of Records by towing a passenger aircraft.

Hero MotoCorp also launched the Glamour X ABS in September. Its ex-showroom price in Delhi is Rs 1.01 lakh. The bike gets two new colour options, Gun Metal Grey and Matt Axis Grey. The existing Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue options continue.

The Hero Glamour X ABS is among the first motorcycles in the 125cc segment to get single-channel ABS and an Integrated Braking System. The bike also has safety features such as Panic Brake Alert and Hazard Lamps. During emergency braking, Panic Brake Alert flashes the LED indicators rapidly to warn vehicles behind.
