Toyota launches Innova Crysta Limo for fleet operators, priced up to Rs 19.99 lakh

Toyota has launched a new Limo edition of its multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Innova Crysta in the Indian market. The company has designed it specifically for commercial use and the needs of fleet operators. The price has been kept attractive, and the launch is being seen as a big surprise for customers.

The Innova Crysta Limo comes in a single grade, GX-SLF, which stands for GX Fleet. It is available in two seating configurations. The seven-seat Limo GX Fleet 7S is priced at Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom), while the eight-seat Limo GX Fleet 8S costs Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The company has kept the price of this edition under Rs 20 lakh, with the upper limit at Rs 19.99 lakh. As the vehicle is meant for commercial use, it cannot be run as a private car. It is expected to be the best option for tour, travel and taxi service operators.

The Limo edition gets the company's trusted 2.4-litre, four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. The engine produces 148 bhp and is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. Its torque remains strong even at low revs, giving drivers a good experience on long journeys. By the company's claim, the vehicle can deliver a mileage of about 15 km per litre (15 kmpl).

Toyota has put special emphasis on passenger comfort. The cabin has a flexible seating arrangement, a separate air conditioner (AC) for every row, and better headroom and legroom. Features for entertainment during the journey include a touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone connectivity and steering-mounted controls.

On safety, the Innova Crysta Limo gets seven airbags as standard, along with an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA), vehicle stability control (VSC) and hill start assist control.

The company is offering a standard warranty of three years or 1 lakh km. Depending on the customer's needs, it can be extended to five years or 2.2 lakh km. Finance schemes, low EMI options and 24-hour roadside assistance are also available.
