Women often keep trying something new for hair growth. Shampoos are changed, and costly hair treatments are used to make hair soft and smooth. But because of lifestyle, stress and poor eating habits, hair problems tend to grow rather than ease.
Expensive shampoos, serums or hair oils containing chemicals are used to repair damaged hair, and hair is cared for heavily on the outside so that it looks good. According to this home remedy, however, nourishment from within is just as important. It is said that when the body does not get the nutrition it needs, hair falls more instead of growing, and that a change in diet is necessary to strengthen the roots.
For faster hair growth, it is advised to eat foods rich in biotin, protein, iron and healthy fats. The claim is that when food provides the right nutrition, hair looks strong, shiny and thick. Many women spend needlessly on costly supplements from the market, whereas nutritious laddoos can be made at home with few ingredients. These laddoos are said to be tasty and also good for hair, body and skin. It is also said that eating these biotin- and protein-rich laddoos daily for a month makes hair grow and become stronger.
The ingredients are black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, ghee and dates.
To make them, first roast the black sesame, white sesame, flaxseeds and sunflower seeds separately in a pan. Keep the flame low while roasting the seeds, not high. After roasting, set the seeds aside to cool.
Then add a spoonful of ghee to the same pan and roast finely chopped dates on a low flame. When the dates turn soft, the laddoos bind easily. Next, add the roasted seeds to the date mixture and mix well. When the mixture has cooled a little, grease your hands with ghee and shape it into laddoos. This is an easy way to prepare biotin- and protein-rich laddoos.
It is said that eating these nutritious laddoos every morning or at breakfast will give the body plenty of natural biotin, omega-3 fatty acids and protein. Eating them is advised to quickly check hair fall and to aid hair growth.
