Burhanpur nephrologist Dr Pranjal Kashiv wins top place, award for swap transplant research in Sydney

Madhya Pradesh: Dr Pranjal Kashiv, head of the nephrology department at All Is Well Multispecialty Hospital, has received international recognition. Dr Kashiv is a consultant nephrologist and kidney transplant physician at the hospital. The honour was given for his notable contribution to the fields of medicine and organ transplantation.
An international event was held in Sydney, Australia. There, The Transplantation Society (TTS) and the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT) presented Dr Kashiv with the La Renon International Basic and Clinical Sciences Mentee-Mentor Award 2026. It is regarded as a prestigious award of the two bodies.
The honour was given for the research abstract Dr Kashiv presented at the event, titled "Guidelines for Swap Transplant". Research papers had been submitted for the international conference. About 400 of them came from India, while more than 2,000 papers were received from across the world.
In all, there were more than 2,400 research presentations. From among them, the selection committee chose Dr Kashiv's research as the best and ranked it first.
The achievement is special for All Is Well Hospital. Dr Pranjal Kashiv currently works as head of the hospital's nephrology department and also leads its kidney transplant programme. The international recognition for his research on swap transplants reflects the worldwide importance of his research and medical contribution in the field of kidney transplantation.
Hospital managing director Kabir Chouksey and executive director Devanshi Chouksey expressed happiness at Dr Kashiv's success. The entire hospital management and staff also congratulated him warmly.
