Sanjay Mishra strolls ancestral village in lungi and T-shirt, crowd gathers in Darbhanga's Narayanpur

Bollywood actor Sanjay Mishra is known for his simple nature as much as for his acting. He has won over audiences with his powerful performances, and he is once again in the news for his simplicity. He recently visited his ancestral village, where he was seen walking around without any fuss, dressed in a plain lungi and T-shirt. His rustic look has become a talking point on social media.

Mishra had arrived in Narayanpur, his ancestral village in Darbhanga, Bihar. No sooner had he reached than villagers gathered in large numbers to see and meet him. He met relatives and villagers during the visit. Notably, despite the name he has made in Bollywood, he appeared in the village in entirely plain clothes.

His simplicity, as he strolled through the village in a lungi and T-shirt, is drawing the attention of his admirers. A video of him sitting at ease on the veranda of a house is also going viral on social media.

After reaching the village, Mishra also visited the temple of his family's kuldevi (family deity), offered prayers and sought blessings. He spoke to villagers and posed for photographs with them. Fans are liking this manner of an actor who has stayed connected to his roots.

Mishra's acting was also recently recognised at the national level. At the 72nd National Film Awards, he was given the Best Supporting Actor award for the film Bhakshak. It had also been talked about at the time that he had ironed his own clothes to collect the award, another glimpse of his simplicity.

The video from the village is currently doing the rounds on social media. Fans are praising the actor for staying simple despite fame and popularity. Away from the glitz of Bollywood and at ease among his own people, Mishra has once again won over his admirers.
