Ranveer Singh adds electric BMW i7 priced from Rs 1.95 crore to his car collection

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is in the news for his lifestyle as much as his personal life. The family has welcomed a new member, and the household is in a celebratory mood. Now, another piece of good news is being linked to him: he has reportedly added one more luxury car to his collection.
Ranveer is said to have bought the BMW i7, the German carmaker's all-electric sedan. Its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 1.95 crore. A video of the car is going viral on social media, and fans are talking about the actor's new purchase.
The car he has bought is believed to be the BMW i7 50 xDrive M Sport variant, the all-electric sedan in BMW's flagship 7 Series line-up. Striking design, strong performance and the latest technology are its hallmarks.
The car has a 112.5 kWh battery pack and produces 455 bhp of power and 600 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.5 seconds, and its top speed is 210 kmph.
Another major highlight of the electric car is its driving range. According to the company's WLTP claim, the BMW i7 can travel up to 728 km on a full charge, combining luxury with electric mobility.
The BMW i7 is known not only for its speed and range but also for its plush interior. Rear passengers get a 31.3-inch 8K theatre screen on which they can watch films and other entertainment during the journey. Features for the front passenger include a 14.6-inch display and a panoramic head-up display. Powered seats offer massage, heating and ventilation functions.
Several Bollywood personalities are fond of luxury cars. The names of stars such as Ajay Devgn, Sonam Kapoor, Jeetendra, Riteish Deshmukh and Sonu Sood have also come up in connection with the BMW i7. Ranveer is said to have bought the car for his personal use.
Ranveer has a special liking for expensive and unusual cars, and his collection is said to include several luxury vehicles already. He owns the GMC Hummer EV, an electric SUV known for its "crab walk" capability.
