Rajapur council employee's moving two-wheeler catches fire, gutted

The two-wheeler of Sachin Rahate, an employee in the water supply department of the Rajapur Nagar Parishad, suddenly caught fire while moving this morning. The vehicle was completely burnt out and Rahate has suffered a heavy financial loss. Fortunately, no one lost their life in the incident, and a major tragedy was averted.

Rahate works in the water supply department of the Rajapur Nagar Parishad. According to the information received, as per the plan for the 7 am water supply, he was to release the water supply line at Kondetad, and he was riding there on his two-wheeler for this work. His vehicle suddenly caught fire during the journey. As soon as it became evident that the vehicle was on fire, there was a rush of people in the surrounding area.

The Rajapur Nagar Parishad fire brigade was contacted to put out the fire, but the intensity of the blaze was very high. The flames engulfed the two-wheeler from all sides, and within a short time the entire vehicle was reduced to ashes. The vehicle suffered extensive damage.

On learning of the incident, council employees rushed to the spot and helped bring the situation under control. Council vehicle driver Dilip Tambe, Bhupesh Kaneri, mukadam Rajan Jadhav, Sandesh Jadhav, Saikiran Kothrekar, Sandeep Kuli, Pravin Shinde and Nilesh Bane were present there along with other employees at the time.

The sudden fire in a moving two-wheeler on a busy road created panic there for a while. Fortunately, no one was killed. Even so, Rahate has suffered a heavy loss as the two-wheeler was completely burnt. Council employees have expressed regret over the incident.
