Registered voters of the Nagpur division graduates' constituency no longer need to go anywhere to check their names on the electoral roll. They can verify from home, on their mobile phones, whether their names are on the list. Vijayalakshmi, Divisional Commissioner and Returning Officer for the election, has appealed to voters to use the facility and exercise their right by voting.

She said voting for the seat will be held on October 23 and votes will be counted on October 27. There are 38 candidates in the fray for the Nagpur division seat. She asked voters to be sure to check their details online.

A total of 2,55,603 registered graduate voters in the division will exercise their franchise this time. In the six districts of Vidarbha, Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur and Gadchiroli, 445 polling stations have been set up.

The draft electoral roll was published in Maharashtra on August 31, 2026. It was issued under a special revision programme being run with October 1, 2026 as the qualifying date.

Following the latest decision of the Election Commission, citizens of Maharashtra can file their applications until October 26, 2026. During this period they can get names added to the roll, have entries corrected or object to a wrong name.

According to the revised programme of the Election Commission of India, claims and objections can be submitted until October 26, 2026. The notice stage and the disposal of claims and objections will be completed by November 10, 2026. The final electoral roll will then be published on November 16, 2026.

The office of the Chief Electoral Officer has urged eligible citizens to take advantage of the extended period. The office said the deadline is important for getting names included, correcting details and, where necessary, filing objections, and asked people to submit their claims and objections within the stipulated time.
