The new winter schedule for domestic flights from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur has been issued. It covers domestic flights for the coming winter season, will come into effect on October 25, 2026, and will run until March 27, 2027. Domestic flights will operate according to this schedule throughout the period.
Under the new schedule, Air India will operate regular flights from Nagpur to Delhi and Mumbai on all seven days of the week. Passengers will get a daily flight to both cities, and the airline's service on neither route will be off on any day of the week.
There are also significant changes in the Air India Express schedule. The biggest news for passengers concerns Bengaluru. Air India Express flight IX 2098 from Nagpur to Bengaluru has been cancelled. The flight was scheduled to leave Nagpur at 3.05 pm and reach Bengaluru at 4.45 pm.
The new, revised schedule will help passengers plan their winter travel. Those travelling from Nagpur during this period can make their plans keeping the cancelled flight in mind.
Experts believe airlines have made these changes and reshuffles in flight timings in view of the rising number of passengers in the winter season. The increase in passenger numbers is being cited as the reason for the changes. The departure and arrival times of several flights are likely to be altered slightly to better manage slots, especially during the busy morning and evening hours, so that passengers face no inconvenience.
Airport management has appealed to passengers to confirm the status of their flight and the new timings through the airline's official website or customer support before starting their journey.
Fog and bad weather often raise the risk of disruption to flight operations in winter. The airport administration has completed all necessary preparations for this.
