LIC Housing Finance Limited has invited applications for 'Management Trainee' posts from candidates who have completed an MBA. The recruitment is for the company's marketing and sales department, and 50 posts will be filled. Candidates can apply until October 25. Freshers can also apply.
Selected trainees will receive a stipend of Rs 40,000 to 50,000 a month during a year of training. After the training, candidates who meet the company's criteria may be appointed to a permanent post, in which case the annual package could be Rs 14 lakh or more. There is no fee for applying.
Selected candidates will learn the company's marketing and sales work, which includes bringing in new customers, growing the home loan business and building good relations with customers.
On qualifications, a candidate must hold an MBA degree from a recognised university. A degree in any other discipline alone does not make a candidate eligible. Freshers can apply, but preference may be given to those with one year of experience in sales, field sales, business development, client relationship management and negotiating deals. Candidates should be able to add new customers, grow business, maintain customer relations and close business deals through negotiation.
The recruitment also carries a condition on location. The candidate must be a local resident of one of 35 cities set by the company, and must be able to speak and understand the local language of that city.
The cities in north India are Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Kanpur, Sonipat and Ludhiana. From Rajasthan and central India, they are Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior (West) and Raipur. The cities in Maharashtra are Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nashik and Nagpur.
From east India, they are Patna, Ranchi, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, while from the north-east they are Guwahati and Tripura. The cities in south India are Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Ernakulam.
To apply, candidates should first visit the official website of LIC HFL, lichousing.com. In the careers section, they should look up the 'Management Trainee Marketing and Sales' recruitment. The application link given in the recruitment details leads to the application page on Internshala.
