Hyundai has unveiled its new-generation Tucson N Line SUV. The sporty SUV was presented at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. It comes with a striking design, a premium interior and hybrid engine options. The plug-in hybrid variant has drawn the most attention, with 288 hp of power and an electric range of up to 67 km.

On design, the new Tucson N Line gets 20-inch alloy wheels, a distinctive front bumper, satin black air ducts and body-coloured side skirts. At the rear are a bumper with a diffuser-like design and twin exhaust outlets. Glossy black mirrors and N Line badging add to the sporty look. Hyundai's signature H-shaped lighting design has been retained.

The SUV is offered with three electrified petrol powertrains. The first pairs a 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system. It produces 148 hp and comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The second is a full hybrid variant, in which a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.49 kWh battery together produce 242 hp. The third is a plug-in hybrid with a 17.1 kWh battery and a total output of 288 hp. By the company's claim, this variant can run up to 67 km in electric mode. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options will both be available.

The cabin has a 17-inch touchscreen, the Pleos Connect infotainment system and an AI voice assistant. Sport seats with red stitching, an N steering wheel, metal pedals and a premium finish set the interior apart. Select variants also get a Bang & Olufsen 12-speaker audio system, a digital key and wireless charging.

Safety features include automatic emergency braking, highway driving assist and parking collision avoidance. The rear seats fold in a 4:2:4 split, and boot space is up to 613 litres.

The new Tucson N Line has been unveiled in Europe, but its India launch date and price have not yet been announced. Indian customers will have to wait for the company's next announcement.
